Silesian Centre for Education and Interdisciplinary Research in Chorzów is a research hub of multiple faculties of the university which encompasses over 70 laboratories and workrooms equipped with state-of-the-art research apparatus. With its unique research equipment, the facility is a place where research into mathematics, natural sciences and technical sciences is carried out. The unit is also devoted to popularizing science through organizing conferences, worksops and promotional activities.
