The conference organized by Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education will take place on 26th of January 2017 in the International Conference Centre (Miedzynarodowe Centrum Kongresowe) and on 27th January on the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia in Katowice.
The topic of the conference in Katowice is the career and the development of young academic staff, including their working conditions, career path and their functioning in Polish education system. It is a fourth of the conferences organized in different educational institutions in Poland, during which the major problems of higher education system in Poland are discussed.
The conference in Katowice is one of the forerunning events of the National Congress of Science, which will take place in September 2017 in Cracow. During the congress, the Minister of Science and Higher Education will present the project of the new regulation act on higher education system.
