The aim of the University of Silesia is to offer broad range of programmes on all levels of education. From humanities to mathematics and science – all of which are delivered by highly qualified, professional yet passionate academic staff.
We are currently teaching over 28,000 students on over 70 programmes and 230 specializations on bachelor, master and doctoral levels. With almost 50 years of its tradition, the University of Silesia has gathered well over 250,000 alumni till this day, and has its units located in 4 different cities.

Foreign students may apply to the University of Silesia in three different ways: on tuition-paying basis, for tuition-free places, and by the same rules as citizens of Poland.
