Academic Sports Association

Knowing that physical activity is essential for having a healthy lifestyle, the University of Silesia has established its own Academic Sports Association, which currently gathers over 2000 members. The association is open both for the students and staff of the university, giving them opportunity to participate in the meetings of its 35 sections.

List of sections which sports enthusiasts can join:

  • Women’s and men’s basketball,

The above-mentioned sections of the association are available for all, regardless of their level of advancment – from rookies to experts. Some of them have developped even successful sport teams in disciplines such as:

  • Women’s basketball.
