DoktoRIS - Scholarship Programme for Innovative Silesia, carried out in cooperation with the Marshall's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship, was a strategic project under the Human Capital Operational Programme.

The project involved a scholarship programme for doctoral candidates pursuing a PhD in science disciplines being of key importance for the economy. Over 400 doctoral candidates received scholarships under the two editions of the programme. Active cooperation with business partners resulted in joint research and development projects.
